Cooling load you're paying for
Solar control film rejects up to 97% of the infrared that carries the sun's heat. The HVAC stops fighting the west wall every afternoon, and the load drops without touching the plant.
Offices, storefronts, hotels, schools and government buildings. We specify the film against your glass and your exposure, then our own crew installs it — evenings and weekends when the building can't lose a working day.
Why buildings film their glass
Everything else in a commercial envelope is insulated. The glazing isn't — and on a west elevation in a Georgia summer that single surface drives the cooling load, the glare complaints and half the tenant emails you get.
Solar control film rejects up to 97% of the infrared that carries the sun's heat. The HVAC stops fighting the west wall every afternoon, and the load drops without touching the plant.
Screens wash out, blinds go down, and the daylight you paid for at lease signing stops arriving. Film cuts the glare without darkening the space or mirroring the façade.
Safety and security film holds broken glass together under impact — smash-and-grab, storm debris, or a failed pane over a walkway. It buys time, and it's invisible from the street.
What we install
We're authorized for 3M, LLumar and Solyx, so the specification comes off whichever line actually suits the glass — not whichever one we're tied to.
Multi-layer nano films that filter infrared and UV while passing visible light. The fix for heat gain and cooling cost on a glazed elevation.
8 mil and heavier, bonded to the glazing so a broken pane holds together. Specified for ground-floor retail, lobbies, schools and anywhere glass sits over a walkway.
A sacrificial layer over the glass. When it gets scratched, tagged or acid-etched, we peel and replace the film instead of the pane — which is the difference between a service call and a glazier.
Frosted, etched, gradient and patterned finishes for conference rooms, glass partitions and street-level windows. The look of specialty glass at a fraction of replacing it.
Your mark on the glass in cut vinyl, or reversed out of a frosted band. Supply the artwork in vector format and we'll cut and install it.
For buildings that can't take the mirrored look — high heat rejection with interior reflectivity kept low, so the glass doesn't turn into a mirror on the occupants after dark.
The job we point at
The Starling Atlanta Midtown — the hotel most of the city still calls the W. Eight mil solar-control security film across the guest room glazing, floor after floor, on an occupied hotel.
Work like that is won on sequencing more than on film. Rooms come out of service in blocks, the crew works to the housekeeping schedule, and the glass has to be finished and clear before the room sells that night. It's the reason we don't subcontract: a hotel doesn't get to explain a bad edge to the guest standing in front of it.

Who we work for
Commercial and residential is all we do — no vehicles. Within that, the work runs from a single storefront to a tower's worth of guest rooms.
Why Premier
The material is the easy part. What you're buying is the judgment to specify it and the hands to install it without a flaw.
Questions
The things building owners and facilities managers actually ask us on a first site visit.
Only if you want it to. Reflective films are one option and they're very effective on heat, but 3M's Prestige series and the low-reflectivity LLumar equivalents hold high heat rejection without the mirror finish — from the street the glazing reads close to unchanged. On a leased or listed building that usually matters more than the last few points of performance, and it's a specification choice, not a side effect.
Yes — most commercial work we do runs evenings, weekends or in phased floors. On the Starling we worked to the hotel's housekeeping schedule so rooms came back into service the same day. Tell us what the building can and can't lose and we'll sequence to it.
It buys time, which is usually the honest answer. The glass still breaks; the film holds the fragments in the frame so the opening doesn't clear. A smash-and-grab that expects one swing and an open window instead gets repeated noise and delay, and most give up. It also keeps the glass out of the room, which is the part that matters for storms and accidental impact.
It can, on some sealed units, which is exactly why the specification step matters. Film changes the thermal stress on a pane, and the wrong film on the wrong glass is a real risk. We check the glass type and the existing warranty terms before we quote, and match the film accordingly — that check is part of the site visit, not an extra.
Low. It's interior work on the glass surface, with no wet trades, no drilling and no scaffolding for most elevations. We need clear access to the glass and somewhere to lay out and cut. Film takes a few days to fully cure and clear afterwards, during which some haze is normal.
Yes. Same crew, site by site, with one specification carried across the portfolio so the buildings match. Worth talking through early if the sites have different glazing — matching the look across mixed glass takes planning rather than a single product choice.

Tell us roughly what you've got — elevations, floors, what's going wrong — and we'll come look at the glass and put a number on it. If film isn't the right answer for your building, we'll say so.
