Our story
The person holding the squeegee is the product.
John Rodie started installing architectural window film in the 1980s, and in 1991 he was a charter member of the International Window Film Association. He runs Premier Glass Coatings and Finishes today with his son, Seth.
Film is unforgiving work. Two installers can put the same roll on the same window, and one job lasts decades while the other shows creases, gaps and lifting edges within a season. The difference is experience — knowing how a given glass will take a given film, and having the hands to lay it clean. That's why we've never handed our work to outside crews.
The business grew up on the south side of Atlanta — Griffin, Newnan, Peachtree City and Fayetteville — and today the same two people work everywhere from Macon to Alpharetta: hotels and university buildings downtown, storefronts and offices, and a great many homes.
How we work
Three things we don't compromise on.
None of them are complicated. They're just the parts of the job that are easiest to cut corners on.
Our own crew, every job
The people who quote the work are the people who install it. No subcontractors, no day labor, and nobody on your glass who hasn't been trained on the film going onto it.
Stand behind it
Every installation carries our lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling and cracking, on top of the film manufacturer's own warranty. If the film fails, we come back and make it right.

Manufacturer authorization matters because it's what puts a real warranty behind the film on your glass.

- LLumar authorized dealer. Eastman's LLumar architectural films for solar control, safety and security.
- Solyx authorized dealer. Decorative, frosted and privacy films — including the library installation at Atlanta University.
- IWFA charter member, 1991. A founding member of the International Window Film Association, the industry's trade body.
